1 Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Spread a thin layer of mustard (optional).
Layer the ham evenly, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
Add herbs for extra flavor.
4 Roll & Slice
Roll the pastry tightly into a log (like a Swiss roll).
Slice into 1–2 cm thick rounds.
5 Arrange & Bake
Place pinwheels on the tray.
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle seeds if desired.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
6 Serve
Let cool slightly and serve warm for best taste.
