Materials:
5 banana peels
1.5 liters of water
1 plastic bottle
1 saucepan
1 knife
Procedure: Cut the peels into small pieces and place them in the saucepan with the water. Bring to a boil and boil for 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let it sit for another 5 minutes.
When the water turns brown from the peels, pour it into the bottle, making sure the mixture has cooled.
When you need to use the fertilizer, follow these steps: Use one part fertilizer to five cups of water, mix well, and pour it onto the plants. Apply once a week when the plants are flowering, and water directly every 15 days.
It’s worth mentioning that banana peels have multiple benefits for plants because, thanks to their potassium content, they transport nutrients and promote the formation of flowers and fruit.
However, remember to give each plant the necessary care; you will notice that with this organic fertilizer they grow quickly and in the best conditions by filling them with natural nutrients, in addition to taking advantage of those “remnants” of the fruits.
