Oven-Roasted Chicken / Turkey (Perfect & Not Burnt)

Instructions

 

  1. Mix olive oil, butter, garlic, lemon juice, and all spices.

  2. Rub the chicken well inside and outside.

  3. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).

  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  5. Place the chicken on a rack over a roasting pan.

  6. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.

  7. Roast for 1 hour (depending on size).

  8. Remove foil and roast 15–20 minutes more to brown.


Important Tips (So It Doesn’t Burn):

  • Do not use very high heat.

  • Always cover at the beginning.

  • Baste with juices if needed.

  • If it browns too fast, cover again.
