Pizza Stuffed Bell Peppers

Instructions

1. Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  • Line a baking tray with foil

2. Pre-bake peppers (optional but recommended)

  • Place halved peppers on tray
  • Bake for 10 minutes to soften slightly

3. Cook filling

  • In a skillet:
    • Cook ground beef with onion until browned
    • Drain excess grease
    • Add garlic, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning
    • Simmer for 3–5 minutes

4. Stuff peppers

  • Fill each pepper half with meat mixture
  • Top with mozzarella cheese
  • Add pepperoni slices on top

5. Bake

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, until:
    • Cheese is melted and bubbly
    • Peppers are tender

6. Serve

  • Let cool slightly and enjoy hot

 Tips

  • Add extra cheese for that gooey “pizza pull”
  • Use mini peppers for bite-size versions
  • Want crispier tops? Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end

  • With carbs: add cooked rice or pasta inside
  • Chicken version: swap beef for shredded chicken
