A little girl shared her lunch with a homeless stranger – Years later, he knocked on her door in a suit and tie

“I said no!” Mark roared. “I will call the police and have you arrested for fraud!”

“I’m trying to save a little girl’s life,” Arthur said, lowering his voice to a dangerous, knowing whisper.

“What exactly are you trying to do, Mark?”

Mark flinched. For a brief moment, utter panic flashed in his eyes.

“I’m protecting my family,” Mark murmured, stepping back slightly.

“Then sign the medical authorization,” I begged, holding out a shaking hand. “Please, Mark. Give our daughter a chance.”

“If you try to take her out of the country, I’ll file a kidnapping complaint,” Mark threatened.

“You wouldn’t dare,” I whispered, feeling my blood run cold.

“Try me,” he sneered.

Mark aggressively reached into his leather briefcase and pulled out a thick stack of court orders.

“I brought these documents to forcibly transfer her to the state palliative care facility,” he said. “It’s over, Sarah.”

“No,” I sobbed, falling to my knees before him. “You can’t do this to her.”

“I already did,” Mark replied.

Mark slammed the legal documents on the table, demonstrating that he had the power to stop treatment and let Emma die.
