Simmer
Cook gently for 10–15 minutes, until the beetroot is soft and easily pierced with a fork.
Cool Slightly
Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5–10 minutes.
Blend Until Smooth
Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender, or use an immersion blender directly in the pot, and purée until completely smooth.
Strain (Optional)
For an ultra-smooth texture, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any remaining pulp.
